Organizing Tölt in Harmony Education Seminars, TiH ES, in order to approve new instructors/examination of judges
The Tölt in Harmony Association is really proud and happy for the overwhelming interest for the concept abroad. If you are interested in taking the concept further in your own country, please ensure to follow the routines stated below:
To arrange a Tölt in Harmony Education Seminar, in order to educate and/or examine new instructors and/or judges – an application shall be sent to the Board of Tölt in Harmony for acceptance, prior to the arrangement. The application is emailed to the Chairman of the Board, Denni Hauksson (firstname.lastname@example.org).
A Tölt in Harmony Education Seminar and/or Tölt in Harmony Judges’ Examination shall be organized in cooperation with the Icelandic Horse Federation in the respective country.

The judge guidelines, is wise to read also as a rider, to get a picture of what the judges want to see in the performance: Guidelines_june14
In Sweden we started arranging education seminars during the spring of 2013 and the Icelandic Töltfimigroup held a clinic at the FEIF seminar for instructors in September 2013. In order to create a good starting point regarding training and judging skills, we offered all who both were instructors on level 2 as well as sport judges (in combination) to become Tölt in Harmony judges. (In all 24 people whom accepted the offer).
In February 2014, we arranged a “Tölt in Harmony Day”, (the new name is Tölt in Harmony Education Seminar) where clinics, theory and examination were offered those who already were sport judges in order to become Tölt in Harmony judges. Responsible judges for the examination were Lena Lennartsson and Åsa William, both FEIF judges. Main responsible teacher were Ia Lindholm (riding teacher, level 3). Instructors on level 1 that participated in the “Tölt in Harmony Day”, became Tölt in Harmony instructors for level 1. Instructors on level 2 and 3 that participated in the “Tölt in Harmony Day”, became Tölt in Harmony instructors for level 1, 2 and 3. Eyjolfur Isolfsson (Denmark), Mette Moe Mannseth (Iceland) and Trausti Thor Gudmundsson (Iceland) are also approved Tölt in Harmony instructors for level 1, 2 and 3.
From now on, we recommend that primarily the judges who have participated in the Tölt in Harmony Education Seminar are used for Tölt in Harmony competitions. Please feel free to contact the members of the board of the Tölt in Harmony association, if you have further questions regarding implementation of the concept within your country.
We look forward hearing from you!
